Project details
The former BULL office building with its façades predominantly coloured orange and blue, familiar to people living in Brussels and built in 1985 by architect René Stapels near Merode station and the Cinquantenaire, was an iconic post-modern building of the 1980s. Owned by the P&V insurance company and occupied by the European Commission, the building underwent major renovation work lasting until March 2015. The remit for DDS+ was to propose an innovative and respectful treatment of this architectural landmark.
