Eclipse in a New Light
Last Friday, the team visited the Eclipse construction site, a renovation project for an office building now entering its final stages. Located between Porte de Namur and the Leopold district, the building has seen its main façade completely redesigned to optimize solar gain, notably through enlarged bays, while its base has been reactivated by replacing a former parking area with an open floor connected to an inner courtyard. By reconstructing the circulation core and introducing a new structural grid, the project now offers flexible, adaptable floors capable of evolving with current and future uses. A thoughtful intervention that unlocks the full potential of an existing building without resorting to demolition.
