Project details

At the junction of a residential neighborhood and an industrial enclave on Avenue du Péage, the project combines housing and shared spaces between two contrasting urban fabrics.

In a sparsely built residential area, the project reconstructs a built-up frontage that echoes the scale of the existing houses on Avenue du Péage. To create room for private gardens and open the center of the plot, the building footprint has been minimized. A densely planted central shared garden fosters social interaction among residents and incorporates rainwater management.

Facing Avenue du Péage, 18 apartments are arranged in two blocks, with two service units activating the site’s corners. At the rear of the plot, backed by a car dealership, 13 single-family houses enjoy a quiet, peaceful setting inside the parcel.
