On the site of the City of Brussels’ abattoirs, 1.200 m² of former car hangars make way for 98 student housing units and 400 m² of common spaces.
The project builds on the existing: preserving and renovating the enclosure wall, following the historical footprint of the original buildings, and reusing part of the steel structure in the garden as a witness to the site’s architectural heritage.
