In 2017, our commercial renovation project The Mint, located in the historic heart of Brussels, was completed. A thorough renovation of the pedestal of the Muntcentrum replaced the iconic building in its context and re-restablished dialogue with the public space and the Mint Theatre.

A second phase is now underway, in which DDS+ again plays an active role. An international architecture competition was launched by Immobel and Whitewood to redraw the tower of The Mint and transform it into a mixed complex containing offices, housing, a hotel and other attractive activities. The design by the Norwegian architectural office Snohetta and the Belgian office Binst managed to convince the jury. It is therefore in close cooperation with these firms that DDS+, together with ADE architects, will take on the execution of the project.
