The architectural concept is based on the reinterpretation of the traditional Italian farm, or 'cascina', which was transplanted into the urban context of the Universal Exposition 2015 in Milan, in the way that old farmhouses used to be part of the economic life of the town. While alluding to the symbol of the farm in the collective memory, this innovative project is based on an approach embodying sustainable agriculture, economic efficiency, respect for the environment and a thriving local social life. An excellent positive energy building based on the principles of the circular economy.
